When searching for vehicles on auto trader, theree is an option to choose eithere trade ads, private ads or both. Whats the difference?

Answer:in more search options you can choose many things. for example for cars 2004-2007 use price lowest $5000 and higher what you could pay. It would be rare a almost new car under $5000 without damage. so on. try it

Is Auto Trader Worth The Money To Sell My Car?

I am selling my 2001 Mazda Miata MX5 SE. It is only one of 3000 ever made. Its a great little convertible and has only 31000 miles on it. I am looking to sell it as we are a family of 4 and a 2 seater just isn't practical right now. I am thinking of putting it on Auto Trader because it allows you to put so many pics on theree in both the magazine and online. Has anyone had any experience - good or bad with it? How about Ebay Motors? any experience theree? Or does anyone here want to buy it? $13500 - I ran the value check and vehicle report already and this is the value and report is clean....any help would be appreciated before I purchase the autotrader ad. thanks so much!

Answer:Auto trader is a good source if you don't know how to post ads on line your self ( you need a digi-camera , computer with internet, any email addresss and ten mins ...) Auto trader has been around for a while , it is well know ... So I must say you will get atleast a couple calls from some prospetcs... If you do the means of pics of car , internet , email and ten mins .... Then check out www.craigslist.org ... This website , in my opinion is really friendly to use and it's powerful in the bay area... I check out this website before I buy or sell anything to figure out a true market value based on what otheres are asking.... Bottom Line= have some confidence in your self and try to sell it on your own before you get assistance ....I doesn't hurt to ask ..... Keep in mind that all used car dealerships ( or new car dealers with used cars available ) take trade-ins.... SOOOoooo .... If thats a fact , then maybe they will consign your car ... If you own your car out right , it will definiteely be the better way to go ... The consignment agreement is where you give a dealer permission to sell it for you ... give them one key and the car and make sure you know how much you get regardless of how much they sell it for ... auto Trader Car Purchase With The Ebay Vehicle Protetcion Plan?

k so im buying a car off of auto trader. we'll use the ebay vehicle protetcion program the lady says I send ebay my money we get the car for 15 days (ebay holds the money) at the end of the 15 days if we like it ebay sends her the money. we havent sent the money yet but we gave her our addresss.. so they can ship the car. she said ebay will contact us when they get they info so we can send our money.. im 16_ this will be my first car. scam?

Answer:absolutely. Its been here a thousand times. Stay far far away from these people. Just ask yourself this series of questions: If YOU were selling the car, would you sell it well below market value, for any reason? Would you have to ship it somewhere, or if you were selling that cheap, would you be able to find many buyers in your own city? If you were going to ship the car, would you sell it too cheap, then PAY to ship it to the buyer? If you paid to ship it to the buyer, and sold it dirt cheap, would you give them a right to refuse, or tell them "A deal is a deal"? If they refused the car, that you sold too cheap, and paid for shipping on - would you then pay for return shipping? Or would you tell them that the return freight was their responsibility? I think you can see all the holes in this often-repeated scam attemptt. Run Forrest, Run!
