When Life Gives you Lemons: 1. Yesterday: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79w-9xANLRU&feature=realted 2. The Waitress: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XP_lAFToYGE 3. Puppets: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MsiU07io1TI Below The Heavens: 1. Cold Hearted: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q4OQU8qlSgo&feature=realted 2. Soul Amazin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2HTQp8Flvc&feature=realted For me, i'd say When life gives you lemons. i'm really feeling that album a lot. I love the stories that are told with every song on theree. But below the heavens is good stuff too.

Answer:I like 'when life gives you leomons' more imh. I think its one of the best underground albums this here. You forgot to add the song 'Dreamer' from the album o.O

If Blu And Exile Release A Second Album, Will You Expetc It To Be As Good As Below The Heavens?

I haven't heard much else from Blu (just ordered the new album with Ta'Raach), so I can't really judge him. Exile's production on the Emanon albums isn't even close to his production on Below the Heavens. I think IF they release anorthere album togethere, it's set up to be a disappointment. Also, if anybody has heard "The Piece Talks," is it any good?

Answer:If you would've told me when 2007 began that a rapper named Blu and a producer named Exile would release my favorite album of 2007 I would've thought you were crazy. --This is a tough album to follow. each track is engagaing and honest whethere Blu is commenting on: religion & God, struggles as an underground mc (The Narrow Path), life's ups and downs (Dancing in the Rain), his contempt for commercial rappers and the state of hip-hop (Soul Rising), being a fathere (Good Life) or his candid brainstorm on how to go about winning a girl's affetcion (First Things First). The entire vibe of this album is positive and the subjetc matter varied. I know its saying a lot but had a hard time comparing this to any recent releases so I had to think back to Nas's "Illmatic" or Common's "One Day It'll All Make Sense," both of whichh are all-time classsics.

Do You Think "Grey Hairs" Will Have The Same Effetc On This Setcion As "Below The Heavens"?

It's a great album do you think Reks will go through the "Blu Effetc" He will gain amazing major popularity in the RHH Setcion... Q2: Buy or Sell, Grey Hairs > Below the Heavens

Answer:I doubtt it. I wasn't here in 2007 so I only caught the tail end of the Blu craze. I don't know if Below the Heavens caught on right away when it was released or if it took a while. Anyway, when I started coming here earlier this year, theree were plenty of people calling Below the Heavens one of the 10 best albums, plenty of people calling Blu one of their 5 favorite rappers, a few calling Blu their favorite rapper, and at least 1 question about Blu every day. You don't see any of that for Grey Hairs yet, and I don't think it's going to happen. The people that do mention Grey Hairs tend to call it one of the 5 best albums of the year, not all-time, and I haven't seen anyone call Reks one of their favorite rappers. Buy. Grey Hairs > Below the Heavens

Below The Heavens Or The Cool, Which Is Better?

I would like to thank you RHH people for telling me about Blu he is amazing so im going with Blu's album Below the heavens

Answer:Ima cosign with Omagus...Below the Heavens s a mastepiece really. I would have to admit, that I became a huge fan of Lupe after listening to The Cool, but I'm still listening to Below the Heavens on the daily. Below the Heavens is my #1 for 07, and the Cool is my #3. Blu is a better emcee than Lupe, and Sabzi's production was ill.

Below The Heavens?

Say Below the heavens was produced by someone more popular, like Just Blaze, would it have been as successful?

Answer:It would have been more successful if it was produced by a big name producer. It might not have been as successful with critics, but as far as record sales, it would have sold a lot more.

Heaven Below: Early Pentecostals and American Culture
Average Rating: 5.0
Price: $18.45
Author: Grant Wacker
Manufacturer: Harvard University Press
In this lively history of the rise of pentecostalism in the United States, Grant Wacker gives an in-depth account of the religious practices of pentecostal churches as well as an engaging picture of the way these beliefs played out in daily life.

The core tenets of pentecostal belief--personal salvation, Holy Ghost baptism, divine healing, and anticipation of the Lord's imminent return--took root in the first quarter of the twentieth century. Wacker examines the various aspects of pentecostal culture, including rituals, speaking in tongues, the authority of the Bible, the central role of Jesus in everyday life, the gifts of prophecy and healing, ideas about personal appearance, women's roles, race relations, attitudes toward politics and the government. Tracking the daily lives of pentecostals, and paying close attention to the voices of individual men and women, Wacker is able to identify the reason for the movement's spectacular success: a demonstrated ability to balance idealistic and pragmatic impulses, to adapt distinct religious convictions in order to meet the expectations of modern life.

More than twenty million American adults today consider themselves pentecostal. Given the movement's major place in American religious life, the history of its early years--so artfully told here--is of central importance.
