How Can I Put A Simple Hit Counter On My Craigslist.org Listing?

I've been messing with craigslist.org and figured out that you can put html code in the body part of your ad. I am far from knowledgeable on html so I've only been able to alter size, style, positioning of text and put in a table. All I want to do is find a way to track how many people see the ad. Nothing fancy. Simple. Can anyone figure out how to insert a counter inot the body part of a craigslist.org ad with html? Thanks in advance!

Answer:Simple hit counters: There's loads to choose from here: http://www.hitcountermaster.com/hit-counter/ And two real easy ones to hook up: (they just give you the HTML you need to cut and paste) http://www.websitegoodies.com/tools/hitcounter.php http://www.simplehitcounter.com/

What's The Difference Between Posting A Classified Ad In Craigslist.org Norfolk And Craigslist Hampton Roads?

I posted an ad with craigslist.org for Norfolk, VA and it showed up in the classsified setcion. But then I checked the messages posted at Craigslist Hampton Roads with Y! and it was not listed. What's the difference and can you post to both? If you only post to one, whichh is the best to use? Thanks, Cindy I thought they were both free posting places if you're just trying to sell a set of lamps. I thought it said theree was a fee if you were posting for a job.

Answer:you have to pay more fees if you want it to post in additional areas. On craigslist, I think you have to go to each location and repost and pay for each one.

What Softwares Do I Need In Order To Be Able To Create A Website Just Like Craigslist.org?

Do I need database? What kind? and what for? what Software they used to build the web pages? How complicated is it to build website just like criagslist? are theree any place where I can get scripts, codes, etc where can I find ready criagslist code? thank you

Answer:you also need the internets. and the servers. and the linuxes. Or you can post for a job request on rentacoder.com. Just don't be too ambitious. Some guy once posted for a $100 job for the next generation OS that would be "better than" Windows XP and "the next version of" Windows XP. Suffice it to say that it kept people amused for the next few months.

Craigslist Classics, Vol. 1
Price: $17.95
Author: John Luerssen
Manufacturer: lulu.com
Items for barter, casual encounters, farm and garden supplies, tools and vacation rental? Holy crap! 10 million people post classifieds on Craigslist each month, so there must be 10 million and one who actually read them! When keys are lost and cell phones are found in Boulder, Colorado, the world is promptly alerted via Craigslist. And dudes in Brooklyn with $40 worth of iTunes giftcards will gladly part with them for $40, what a deal! From locales across the globe like Des Moines and Sydney, Australia, there is what appears to be the free and open trade or barter of temptation and arousal - touted as "erotic services" to those aged 21 and older. Journalist John D. Luerssen takes a stab at his first humor title and comes up a winner by compiling the recent classic postings of Craigslist.org for all to see. Simply put, there are some hysterically amusing, downright odd and routinely pathetic postings on the site.
