Answer:If you reinstall iTunes in your computer, then it should work like before UNLESS THE ITUNES FOLDER WITH ALL THE MUSIC IS DELETED, TOO. If that's the case, then you have to get the music first from your iPod using a different program. Use Senuti 0.33 or Yamipod to rip songs from your iPod. After that, install your iTunes again and just import.

That's a large download... when it's done, backup your library. I keep two backups, the most recent and the one before that... I have issues with losing even a month's worth of music, let alone the whole library.

If you buy songs from itunes, they are most likely not compatible with any other devices other than apple devices. There is a process you can go through to "unlock" these songs, but it takes time.
If you just use your iTunes to organize your songs that you bought on a CD or downloaded from another source, you can access these songs and move them to your phone.
