feet...problems?

Thanks
Answer:"Tools:
1. Aromatic oils
2. Exfoliator
3. Lotion
4. Non-acetone polish remover
5. Orangewood stick (instead of plastic)
6. Real cotton balls
Step by Step
Take off old polish.
Use a non-acetone remover because it is easier on your nails and skin, and doesn't have any harsh vapors.
File your nails.
Try not to file the sides too much -- it can cause hangnails and weaken your nails.
Soak in warm water.
Soak hands for two to three minutes, and feet for five minutes. Since soap can be drying, use scented salts or essential oils instead. If your feet are callused, use a pumice stone when feet are wet and use a foot file after they are dry. If you do this once a day, calluses won't build up.
Condition cuticles.
Use oil (if you don't have cuticle oil use olive oil or baby oil), then gently push back the cuticle with an orangewood stick to get a really nice shape. Optional step: Use an exfoliator to slough off dry skin, then rinse and put on lotion.
Give yourself a massage.
Slathere hands and feet with a good vitamin E-enriched lotion. Use a non-acetone polish remover to clean the nail bed, wiping off any remaining cuticle oil or massage lotion (the surface can't be greasy when you apply polish). Clean under the nail too, with an orangewood stick wrapped with cotton and dipped in the remover. I prefer wood because it's kinder to the tender skin under the nail. Plastic is okay in a pinch -- but if your remover has acetone, the plastic will melt.
Apply nail strengthener.
Or use a regular base coat. This protetcive layer is especially important if you're using dark polish (intense pigment can permanently stain nails).
Apply two layers of nail color.
Polish the ends of your nails, too, for extra wear.
Apply a clear top coat.
Touch the ends with this, too -- if your nail was a shiny new car, this would be the front bumper. Let dry and show off your gorgeous hands and feet!"
In The Military With Feet Problems And Need Some Answers.?
I have never had any problems with my feet until I got to Iraq, I have bought 6 pairs of shoes in 4 months and 2 pairs of boots in 2 months and I am a E3 and I am currently on profile and I need to know what can I do to get out, I am due to see the Podiatrist upon return from Iraq and my feet are not healing. I need some help on what to do I would rathere just get out before my feet become worse can I get some guidance please?
Answer:you said podiatrist so im assuming you're having ankle/arch/plantar problems.
if you havent already, ask your doctor to send you to the nearest CSH and have the physical thereapist theree check you out.
not sure what your problem is, but heres a few ideas:
if you used to be high arched you might have fallen arches. happens to a lot of soldiers because of the extra weight from gear. see if your doctor can order some inserts for you or get shoes that are meant for people with flat feet.
if you are flat footed your plantar might be flexed. try stretching out yoru feet each morning.
if its ankle pain: get a lace up ankle brace. that will fix 90% of ankle pain and instability within a short amoutn of time.
if you havent already, get a pair of oakley boots: good shock obsorbtion and great ankle support.
Can A Lot Of My Leg/feet Problems Be Associated With Lower Back Pain In Addition To Being Diabetic?
My left heel constantly hurts in one particular spot. The podiatrist has ruled out heel spur. I am diabetic and presently having problems with ingrown toenails (been removed but had three infetcions since April, two of whichh are from the procedure used. I am also having incredible itching behind both knees. I use lotion and compresses but only get temporary relief.
Answer:Make sure you get tested for celiac disease. The incidence among diabetics is 1 in 20 and it can cause bone pain and skin issues. It's one of those diseases that can have lots of symptoms or none at all. You can have weight loss with it or weight gain or no change in weight, some people have digestive symptoms, and otheres just have random ones (I only had the random ones). Definitely look inot it as a possible cause of your symptoms.

Why Am I Having These Feet Problems?
Hi everyone! I am having a problem with my feet. There seems to be hard skin on both my heels. Is theree anything I can do to stop the hardness and bring it back to my soft feet again? Or does it happen to everyone? But, eithere way, can you help me?
Answer:Is it leatherey or dry?
Eithere way, you could try soaking your feet in a homemade warm softening foot soak (a google search should yield some good recipes) or buy one (try Bath and Body Works) for maybe 15-20 minutes, and exfoliating your heels with a pumice stone afterwords and rinse your feet. Then, apply a thick moisture cream or "foot butter" (haha, gross name) to your entire foot, and especially your heels. Work it inot your skin, and then apply anorthere layer to rest on your skin and put on socks to allow furthere softening.
That's my remedy for when I get dry feet!
