Answer:Among Sor's Studies, a lot of gems can be found. I don't now much of Sor's work, however. It may not come to a surprise, but the Recuerdos are my favorite Tarrega piece. I like how it fits every mood: If I'm stressed, it calms me down - if I feel sad, it cheers me up.

Most Indicated Song To Learn On Classical Guitar In Two To Three Weeks?

I'm not much experienced with my classsical guitar, but I need to prepare something for the exam at the end of the year, as I just found out. I don't know what to choose, cause I haven't practiced enough so far in able to play a too complicated song. I like nice melodies, fond of Francisco Tarrega, but can't estimate the difficulty of the songs... Can anyone offer a suggestion?

Answer:Well, it depends in what way do you play the guitar. If... -You fingerpick (whichh would be awesome), I would recommend eithere "California Dreamer" by the Mamas and the Papas, whichh you could see how is it plaid lookin for it on YouTube: "California Dreamer Michael Chapdelaine". Or "I want to break free" by Queen, whichh you look for it as: "I Want To Break Free Naudo". -If you want to use tabs and do a solo, I would recommend the famous "Canon Rock" or "Beethoven Virus". You look for them too in YouTube. Maybe also the Super Mario Theme. Classical Guitar Audition For A Young Musicians' Contest. Suggest Some Pieces Please?

I need to choose 2 Classical Guitar pieces to perform in front of judges. The first piece is for the first round and whoever goes on plays the second chosen piece a week later at the official event. I need some suggestions please. The only thing to be considered is that the length of the pieces cannot exceed 8 minutes. Apart from that anything goes. I want to play something that sounds great and looks difficult. I was thinking of "Caprichio Arabe" by Francisco Tarrega. Othere than that I'm stuck. What do you think about Beethoven transcriptions or a solo version of Pachelbel's Canon? Thanks.

Answer:I really dig Francisco Tarrega,althoughugh I would have chosen "Maria".I would have to consider Anotnio Vivaldi's,"Preludio" from Sonata,Op.5,#16.
