Answer:Synecdoche. It’s a complicated question though, and partly because you use the word ‘femininity’. I shall attempt a quick (but inevitably ugly) explanation. Synecdoche is when a part is used to refer to the whole. So if the concept of “femininity” is made up of both biology (sex) and society (gender), then Girls Aloud are using a part (biology) to refer to the whole (femininity). However, synecdoche is also when the whole is used to refer to the part. And if Girls Aloud are referring to the fact that they are of the female sex by using the word ‘biology’, and biology is not just about sex but a whole host of other things, then they are using the whole (biology) to refer to a part (sex). So, as you can see, it’s not even worth thinking about. It’s definitely synecdoche though, either way. It’s not metonymy, where a word that's commonly associated with the whole (but is not a part of it) is used to refer to the whole (because biology is not just “commonly associated with” but is (arguably) an integral part of “femininity”). There's no point in thinking about it anyway. All we need to know about the song is how stupid it is: "The way that we talk, The way that we walk, So easily caught - You can’t mistake my biology." So what your telling me, Girls Aloud, is "we're sluts because we were born that way". NO, YOU SLAGS! Sluttiness doesn't run in the family - you BECAME sluts. Good God.

ok i have Girls Aloud tickets at the metro arena in newcastle in May but me and my friend want to try to get backstage passes (at any Price) does anyone have any tips or know how to get them. Your help would be gratefully thanked.

Answer:There are ONLY THREE ways to get a backstage pass.... 1) You must know someone connected with the tour, more like a relative that works for the concert. Or, if you are lucky have a friend in school that has a relative that works for the concert. 2) Be a news reporter. You would have to be one connected to your local newspaper or local news TV team. 3) A local radio station will sometime have a backstage pass of the concert and offer it as a promotional prize. Either you have to be the 7th or 10th caller. Or answer the right question on the air. Or hope that the entry form you filled out gets picked out in a drawing.
