Selected by UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan to head the United Nations earthquake and tsunami relief and reconstruction effort. Raised money for relief of the disaster through the USA Freedom Corps. Coordinated (along with George H. W. Bush) private relief donations for Hurrican Katrina victims. His William J. Clinton Foundation does all sorts of great work around the world.
