Answer:Well I would first focus on proper writing skills. If you apply to a university like you wrote this questions, I would not accept you. Also, no abbreviations when writing formal documents. But your volunteer work should be a big boost for you and your marks sound decent as well. While I cannot speak for them, I say you stand a good chance. Good luck However, just incase you do not get accepted, be sure to have a couple of backup plans just incase St. Lawrence is not what you wanted or you get turned down. As far as rank goes, There is no "ranking" of such programs, so far as I know, but suffice it to say that Lawrence Tech has long been one of the major providers of engineering talent to the Detroit Three, the OEMs, and othere suppliers, and Ford, GM, and Chrysler remain the employers of more Lawrence Tech grads than any othere companies.

Which School Has Friendlier Students - Sarah Lawrence College Or Boston University?

I've narrowed my choices down to these two and have finished reading thousands of reviews online and in books from former students themselves. I've got the academics down, but can any current students/alumni/etc. please tell me whichh school has the best people? People who actually smile when you say hello and who make your college experience much more enjoyable? I realize you'll find snotty/aloof/b****y people regardless where you'll go, but in all honesty, some places tend to house them more than otheres.

Answer:I can only speak to BU, but I personally found people theree friendly, though it comes down to a) what college you're in (COM, ENG, SMG, etc.) b) the kind of people you seek out/ignore and c) how high your geek factor is :D Some of the most friendly people at BU are in the slight-geek/nerd by day, indie music/film/art lover at night crowd -- these are the type that I get along well with, so it worked for me :D There is definiteely a subset of people to avoid, the "b****y," superficial ones, but I found it fairly easy -- they're not hard to spot! Have you visited the schools yet? That might be a good way to gage, as well, and compare. Good luck!
