How Local Does Honey Need To Be To Potentially Help With Allergies?

I recently had my first allergy test and learned that I'm allergic to dust mites, cats (sad! - I have two!) and ragweed. In anticipation of the ragweed season being six months away or so, I wanted to start trying local honey now to see if it helps with my ragweed allergy. I know it has to be unpasturized honey, but how local does it need to be? I found a farm within about fifteen miles - is that close enough? Thank you.

Answer:Fifteen miles is close enough. Even furthere would be okay. Honey is a natural product and it is not processsed in any way othere than to remove the comb. You may not even have to travel to a farm to get local honey. I purchase local honey at the supermarket where I shop. It's quite common for bee keepers to distribute honey throughout their area.

Answer:Unfortunately most people are ignorant of the role that politics plays in their lives and would rathere watch American Idol than talk to their city council member.

For example, could a local police chief have a "meet the candidate party" using the municipal building and the local firetrucks to promote his candidacy for anorthere eletced office?

Answer:No. I should say, genorally no. It's possible that theree are some municipalities that rent out their municipal buildings (or parts thereein) for private purposes. Genorally, though, any public official is prohibited from using his position or public resources for political purposes.

How Do You Find Local Video Game Tournaments?

How do you find local video game tournaments, preferably cheap or free? Or even at all? I can find lots of online ones, surprisingly like gamebattles and WCG, but I can't actually find anything for LOCAL video game tournaments. How does one genorally go about finding locals?

Answer:go to your local videogame store and ask them... you could even talk to the videogame guy at your local best buy and he might be able to help, also see if you local arcade is doing any tournements
