Do you know any good online translation sites? I've just used BabalFish for the first time. Although not accurate, but it does point to the right direction if i'm lost after using the ordinary dictionary. So do you know any more sites like BabelFish?
Also, once i saw a site where you only had to copy+paste a URL address of a website, click enter, and the program made a list of the words, giving the translations too. Like a dictionary list with all the words that it recognized to be from the choosen foreign language.
The problem is that this site was only for English- Hungarian translation, and not German-English or German-Hungarian. Are you aware that there is a site like that anywhere on the net?
Answer:I don't know about Hungarian, but I can say with absolute conviction that German does not lend itself easily to machine translations. None of the machines can analyse the morphemes and syntax properly, and the multiple meanings of words from context and the change of meaning in compound words also escape them, unless somebody has gone to the trouble to put in the whole idiomatic expression.

They are all fine for word to word translation, but translating whole phrases is impossible that way.

Type a text in English and send it to one of the reccommended sites and translate it into French. Then take the French text you have been given and send it back to another translator to get it put back into English. Just look at what you got!
