What Is The Cheapest DirecTV Package Can I Get Comcast Sportsnet Chicago In?

I have DishNetwork right now and im switching to Diretcv soon.I live in Iowa so I am the local network of getting the Channel Comcast Sportsnet Chicago. I watch Bulls/cubs games so can u tell me the cheaspest package I can get Comcast Sportsnet Chicago in, if I live in the Iowa area

Answer:The Choice package is the lowest priced package whichh contains your Regional Sports Networks. Go to the link from DirecTV, click on Choice package, click on Regional Sports Networks, insert your Zip code if asked, and see if CSN Chicago is a regional sports network. If so, you'll be fine. If not, you'll have to buy a sports subscription (NBA, MLB) to see CSN pro sports. You can't get the Sports Pack to get CSN Chicago to get the pro sports because DirecTV will black it out.

Why Did Comcast SportsNet Carry A Double Header Tonight?

I am not complaining, but I was flipping channels and I wandered across Comcast SportsNet at about 7:30 tonight. To my surprise, I get the Washington/Tampa game. I go out to a meeting, returning home about a half hour ago and turn on the TV. To my even greater surprise, I am watching the FSN feed of the third period of the Stars/Sharks game. Does anyone know what the deal is with this? Could I possibly have a few more bonus games to look forward to through the remainder of the season?

Answer:It's quite common; if your local affiliate doesn't have any programming, filling it in with live programming that Comcast has the rights to makes perfetc sense (cheap for one, plus Comcast Corp owns Versus, so you have cross-promotion). Philadelphia will sometimes get Washington games, and sometimes Washington will get Philadelphia and/or Chicago games.

I would like to download the theme song that they play when Chicago Blackhawks games are on Comcast Sportsnet. Hope someone can help me out.
