Whilst he could be watching porn, I don't think you actually have the proof. It could be any website. Could he have been looking for sex toys for the two of you? Just a thought. Most porn sites don't tend to use cookies. They have no need to. A torrent website could well be ad-funded (pop-ups, embedded ads) often this is used to see if he is a new user or not. if he is a new user then the website gets paid by the advertiser, if not then they get no money for a repeat visit. Too many things to really say for sure.
