What Can I Substitute Almond Flour (ground Almond) With While Making Apple Pie Crust?

I found this excelent recipe in VideoJug and I want to try it out. But where I live they dont make or sell almond flour or ground almonds. Note: I dont have a machine to ground almonds with myself. What can I use as a substitute? Thank you!

Answer:use hazelnuts (filberts) even better than almonds you can but a grinding machine at a department store appliance setcion for about $10.

Does Putting Avocado On Your Skin Really Make It Smoothere?

I saw on this video from VideoJug that putting avocado, as a face mask, makes your skin smoothere and helps with acne. Is this true?

Answer:OMG YES! It really works, only theree's a slight bit more to it. 1/2 avocado 2 tbs of salt 1 tbs or olive oil It's amazing! I use it on my hands all the time. you salt creates a scrub. the olive oil add moisture oil style. I would only suggest it for you hands though, for it may cause facial breakout. after scrubbing it on ur hands for about 30 seconds of hard scrubing, wash off with warm water, embrace the softness and put your favorite sent of lotion on. Works like a charm!

What's The Difference Between Self Raising Flour And Plain Flour?

I'm learning how to cook and found a great simple website. My only complaint is that they don't say what type of flour to use. If U were to boil potatoes to be mashed, you start them in cold water don't you? This is what I have always been told. Videojug have a sausage and mash vid saying to put the potatoes in boiling water! I'm right, ah?

Answer:You're right. I wouldn't listen to Videojug. Potatoes won't cook evenly if you put them inot boiling water.
